Welcome to Pelirrojo Productions!

For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a love for exploring. I love the excitement that comes with new places and all of the challenges that you have to overcome along the way. Puerto Vallarta was the first place I visited when I started exploring México, and I immediately fell in love. Fast forward 4 years and I’m living here!

Puerto Vallarta is full of incredible views, with sandy beaches and thick, green jungles. I’ve turned this place into my photography playground, and I would love to bring you along with me. Making connections with amazing people has always been my favorite part of life’s adventures, and I’ve found that sharing my story with others can make those connections 10x better.

My goal is to capture the important milestones and special moments in your life as well. Whether that is a wedding, starting your own business, or a going on a family vacation, I will be there to show off the best of your own adventures.

  • Early is great! For engagement sessions, there is more flexibility, but if you can give us several weeks in advance, you’re more likely to get your preferred date.

    Weddings take more time an a lot more planning. Several months in advance is highly recommended!

  • Yes, absolutely! In fact, if you book your wedding with us, we give you a 50% discount on your engagement session!

  • Totally! Puerto Vallarta is an incredible place to get engaged. If you plan to have your wedding back home, or in another epic spot, we would be honor to join you.

  • Yes, we require a 50% non-refundable retainer to book your photo session.

  • We accept cash, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, as well as Debit and Credit Cards

  • All of the images that you receive in the final gallery are professionally edited, and delivered high resolution. You will be able to print those beauties out big enough to make your fireplace look small.

  • This is completely up to you, however, we recommend that you look your best. Puerto Vallarta is BEAUTIFUL! Crisp white, bright colors and dresses that flow in the wind are going to look incredible.

  • Please do this! I started my photography career in a small studio apartment on the Oregon Coast. My trusty sidekick Sadie (Wirehaired Griffon) was, and still is my most trustworthy model. I have a soft spot for pets.

  • We always welcome suggestions from our clients to ensure we capture the important moments you are looking for during your photo session. Let’s work together to be creative!

  • Sometimes we hide in plain sight… other times in the bushes… or maybe I’m just not going to tell you. You know… undercover.

  • Absolutely! We have print shops locally here in PV, as well as a wholesale printer in the USA and Canada. Making high quality prints is an art, and we love to help you create that magical wall hanger of your dreams.

  • We understand that life is busy and forgetting to book your photographer happens. We will do everything we can to fit you in the schedule. If for some reason we cannot, we have photographer friends we love to recommend to clients who we are unable to accomodate.

  • We have two options.

    1. We do our best to reschedule

    2. Have you ever seen the Notebook? Let’s get wet.

  • We love proposals! Coordinating these is our specialty. We know you’re nervous and somewhat unpredictable. We roll with the punches and will dive in the water to get that shot if needed. Don’t underestimate my ability to keep the camera dry while skillfully composing the money-shot.

  • Drones are awesome and they add a lot of pizzazz to a gallery. As long as it isn’t raining and we have calm winds, we would love to take flight.

  • All images are delivered to our clients fully edited, however we do our best to get the shot right in camera. If you would like any skin retouching we offer that service as well. There is a good chance I may sneak a duplicate photo into your gallery with a crocodile in the water though.

  • Travel fees will be included in your final invoice depending on the location of your photo session. This is normally only a factor for long drives or boat fees.

  • We try to keep the session relaxed and fun so that we can bring out your real smiles and show off your personality. We incorporate poses as needed to keep things flowing, and get those epic, magazine worthy images you’ve been dreaming of!

  • Props can make a photoshoot really creative and unique. If you have something special to you, bring it along and we will use it in a lot of fun ways. Have you ever seen our fire sessions???

  • An engagement session usually lasts around an hour, but it all depends on what you have in mind. Looking to go hike to a secluded beach? How about check out the waterfalls of Puerto Vallarta? We are so ready to spend the afternoon hiking with you!

  • Any additional charges for time will be included in your invoice and agreed upon prior to beginning the photo shoot. Setting clear expectations from the start is key to everything running smoothly.
